A minister and a scientist 

 

Once there  was a minister who was very fond of knowing his future from the scientists.A famous scientist happened to stop at his area on his way to Laboratory.The minister called on him to know about his future and the scientist told him something unpleasant.

 

At this time the minister got furious and condemned him to death saying,"Men like you should not live to spoil the peace of the world."But another thought had crossed his mind before the scientist was removed for execution."How long will you live?"asked the minister.

With ready wit the scientist said,"The stars declare that I shall die only a week before your die.So,good-bye."Hearing this the minister turned pale like a dead man and shouted."Drive this wretch away,let him not come here again."

Moral:- Common sense is most powerful.
